Hello! I'm Rose and I am the author of The Crystal Butterflies series. 

I write mostly found family fantasy but I also write romance and romantasy. My favorite tropes are enemies to lovers, slowburn, and touch her and die.

I first started making stories as a young immigrant child in a new country with no friends. Soon I had too many stories to keep in my head so I started writing them down.

My dream of writing a book or books was first lite in middle school, 2016, when I read a story my friend was writing. I thought to myself, "Why don't I try that too?" Since then I have been writing stories of all genres.

I attended a creative writing club in 2017 where I learned many thing about writing and decided I wanted to become a published author. In 2018, I started the first draft of The Crystal Butterflies series. The book I was working has been changed and is now going to be the prequeal to the series.

In late 2020, I drafted what is now the plot of the series. Although it has changed a lot there is still many things I kept. That's also the year I met my best friend. She has been one of the biggest supports of my life.

In 2022, I took a creative writing class in my high school and learned many more writing tips as well as how to do poetry. Since then I have published two poems in school journals.

As of right now, I am the oldest daughter of a four person family. I am studying Astronomy and Writing at the University of Oklahoma. Currently working on getting the rest of The Crystal Butterflies series out before I started other projects but everything is subject to change.

My favorite hobbies are reading (romance, fantasy, and sci-fi), writing, journaling, and floral arrangements.

My favorite books are The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielson, The Fine Print by Lauren Asher, The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan, and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

My favorite movies/TV shows are To All the Boys I've Loved Before trilogy, Percy Jackson, Howl's Moving Castle, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Fairy Tail, Naruto, Bleach, Jujustu Kaisen, and Avatar the Last Airbender.
